How to Draw a Flour
Draw a flour in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the sack.
Step 1: The sack
Draw a big box in the lower part of your paper. Bow the sides out a tiny bit.
Tip Leave room above it for the flour.
Step 2: Rolled top
Across the top draw a long thin box with round corners, a little wider than the sack.
Tip This is the paper rolled down so you can see the flour.
Step 3: Heap of flour
Start at the left end of the roll. Draw a tall round hill and stop at the right end.
Tip Make the hill smooth and round, like a scoop of ice cream.
Step 4: The label
Under the roll draw a long box for the label, with a gap at each side.
Step 5: Write FLOUR
Inside the label write FLOUR in big capital letters.
Tip Make all 5 letters the same height.
Step 6: Wheat stalk
Under the label draw a straight stalk down the middle. Put a pointed grain on top of it.
Tip Flour is made by grinding wheat grains.
Step 7: Wheat grains
Down each side of the stalk draw 3 pointed grains, leaning up and out like little leaves.
Tip Start each grain on the stalk.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line under the sack, from near the left edge to near the right edge.
Step 9: Cream sack
Colour the sack cream, around the label and the wheat. Leave the heap of flour white.
Step 10: Wheat and label
Colour the wheat grains yellow. Colour the label sky blue, around the letters.
Step 11: Tan roll
Colour the rolled top a sandy tan, then go over your lines.
