How to Draw a Florist
Draw a florist in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg for the head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Leave most of the page below for the body and legs.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 big round eyes in the middle of the head. Add dots, a tiny nose, a smile and eyebrows.
Step 3: Bob hair
Draw hair over the head with a fringe curve. Add a bob straight down each side to the jaw.
Step 4: Neck and shirt
Draw 2 short neck lines under the chin. From them, draw a shirt with round shoulders, down to the hips.
Step 5: Apron and pocket
On the chest, draw an apron top slanting out to the waist, then down below the knees. Add a pocket.
Step 6: Right arm
From the right shoulder, draw a long sleeve down to a cuff. Add a mitten hand under it.
Tip Rub out the shirt lines inside the sleeve.
Step 7: Left arm
From the left shoulder, bend a sleeve across the apron, stopping at a cuff. Add a mitten, thumb up.
Tip Rub out the lines inside the sleeve.
Step 8: Bouquet
From the elbow, draw a paper cone into the hand. On top, draw 3 flowers with 5 round petals.
Step 9: Trousers and shoes
From under the apron, draw 2 trouser legs getting narrower, down to a shoe each with toes pointing out.
Step 10: Ground line
Start left of the left shoe and draw a straight ground line under both shoes, past the right one.
Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink, then the face, neck and hands peach around them.
Tip Leave the eyes and the shirt white.
Step 12: Yellow middles, tan cone
Colour the flower middles yellow. Colour the paper cone and the trousers tan.
Step 13: Red petals, green apron
Colour the petals red around the yellow middles, and the apron green around the bouquet and arm.
Step 14: Brown hair and shoes
Colour the hair and the shoes brown. Go over your lines and your florist is done.
