How to Draw a Flip Phone
Draw a flip phone in 13 steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the top half.
Step 1: The top half
In the upper middle of your paper draw a tall box with round corners for the top half.
Tip A flip phone snaps open like a clam.
Step 2: The screen
Inside the top half draw a smaller box for the screen, leaving a border all round.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
In the screen draw 2 round eyes, one eye apart. Colour a big black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek under each eye.
Step 5: Hinge and bottom half
Under the top half draw a flat pill for the hinge. Below it draw a shorter box with round corners.
Step 6: The big key
Near the top of the bottom half draw a flat pill for the big key.
Step 7: Number keys
Under it draw 9 little squares in 3 rows of 3 for the number keys.
Step 8: Antenna
On the top right of the top half draw a short stubby antenna sticking up.
Step 9: Ring lines
On each side of the top half draw 2 ring lines in the air, curving away from the phone.
Step 10: Ground
Draw a ground line under the phone from left to right.
Step 11: Pink cheeks
Colour the cheeks pink.
Step 12: Blue screen, white keys
Colour the screen sky blue around the face, leaving the eyes white. Leave the keys white.
Step 13: Purple phone
Go over your lines, then colour the phone and antenna purple, around the screen and keys. Ring ring!
