How to Draw Fish Sticks
Draw fish sticks in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the plate.
Step 1: The plate
A little below the middle draw a big wide oval for the plate, nearly as wide as the page.
Tip Everything sits inside the plate, so make it big.
Step 2: The rim
Inside the plate draw a second oval a finger in from the edge, for the rim.
Step 3: First fish stick
On the upper left of the plate, draw a long rectangle with soft corners, tilted up a little.
Tip Fish sticks are blocks with straight sides, not round sausages.
Step 4: Second stick
Under it, draw another rectangle tilted the other way, tucked a little behind the first.
Step 5: Two more sticks
Draw a third rectangle low on the left and a fourth on the upper right, both sloping down.
Step 6: Crumbs
Draw 3 tiny dots spread along each stick for crispy crumbs.
Step 7: Ketchup pot
On the right of the plate draw a small round pot with a smaller round inside for the ketchup.
Step 8: Peas
On the left of the plate draw 4 little round peas in a loose bunch.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line under the plate from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Sky rim
Go over your lines. Colour the rim of the plate sky blue between the 2 ovals. Leave the middle white.
Step 11: Tan fish sticks
Colour all 4 fish sticks tan, like crispy breadcrumbs.
Step 12: Red ketchup, green peas
Colour the ketchup red and the peas green. Dinner is served!
