How to Draw Macaroni
Draw macaroni in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the rim.
Step 1: The rim
A little below the middle of your paper draw a wide flat oval, about a hand across.
Step 2: The bowl
Start at the left end of the oval. Draw a big U down and up to the right end.
Step 3: The foot
Start under the bowl on the left. Draw a short stand down, across, and up to the bottom again.
Step 4: The sauce
Inside the rim draw a second flat oval, a finger inside it.
Step 5: Four macaroni
At the back of the sauce draw 4 fat C elbows with round ends, heaped up over the rim.
Tip Put one on top in the middle, so they look piled up.
Step 6: Three more in front
In front of them, lower down, draw 3 more fat C elbows covering part of the ones behind.
Step 7: A spoon
On the right draw a spoon sticking up out of the bowl. Its oval end rests on the sauce.
Step 8: The stripe
Start on the left below the rim and draw a bowed stripe across. Stop on the right.
Step 9: Steam
Start a little above the macaroni and draw 2 wiggly steam lines going up.
Step 10: The table
Draw a table line under the foot, just touching its bottom.
Step 11: Cream macaroni, yellow sauce
Go over your lines. Colour the elbows cream, then the sauce yellow around the elbows and spoon.
Step 12: Grey spoon, blue band
Colour the spoon grey and the band blue. Leave the bowl white.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: macaroni, drawn by you.
