How to Draw a Firefighter
Draw a firefighter in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top, in the middle, draw an egg head, a little narrower at the chin.
Step 2: The face
Draw 2 small eyes, a nose and a smile. Start a C ear on each side, back to the head.
Step 3: Helmet
Draw a helmet over the top of the head. Add a wide brim across the bottom and a small badge.
Step 4: Neck and coat
Draw 2 neck lines. From the left one, draw a coat with long sleeves, round to the right one.
Step 5: Sleeve cuffs
Near each wrist, draw a cuff line across the sleeve, from the outside edge to the inside edge.
Step 6: Mitten hands
At the bottom of each arm, draw a mitten with a little thumb pointing in toward the body.
Step 7: Safety stripes
Draw 2 close lines across the coat, low down, from left side to right. Draw 2 more across the middle.
Step 8: Trousers
Start at the left end of the hem. Draw the trouser legs down and up, to the right end.
Step 9: Boots and ground
Under each leg, draw a tall boot with the toe pointing out. Draw a long ground line under the boots.
Step 10: Peach skin, pink cheeks
Colour the face, ears, neck and hands peach, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Yellow coat, grey stripes
Colour the coat and sleeves yellow, skipping the stripes. Then colour the stripes grey.
Step 12: Helmet, trousers, boots
Colour the helmet red, the trousers navy and the boots black.
