How to Draw a Fawn
Draw a fawn in 11 steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big round head.
Step 1: Big round head
Near the top left, draw a big round head with soft cheeks. Leave room on the right for the body.
Step 2: Eyes and nose
Draw 2 big oval eyes and a triangle nose. From the nose, draw a w smile down to each cheek.
Step 3: Leaf ears
On each top corner of the head, draw a leaf ear pointing up and out, with a smaller leaf inside.
Step 4: The neck
Start behind the head. Draw the neck down to the body. Start under the chin and draw the front down.
Tip The neck gets wider toward the body.
Step 5: Bean body
Start at the neck. Draw a big soft bean body, round at the bottom, back up to the neck.
Step 6: Two legs
Draw a ground line. Start on the chest and draw a leg down to a hoof. Add the back leg.
Step 7: Far legs
Start on the tummy behind the front leg. Draw a thinner leg down to a hoof. Do both legs.
Tip Only draw the parts you can see.
Step 8: Little tail
On the top corner of the bottom, draw a little leaf tail pointing up and back, like a small flag.
Step 9: Spots
Along the back, draw 3 little round spots in a row. Add 2 more spots below, between them.
Step 10: Colour it ginger
Colour the ear insides peach. Colour the fawn ginger around them, leaving the spots, hooves and eyes white.
Step 11: Colour the hooves
Colour the hooves grey.
