How to Draw a Fanny Pack

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a fanny pack in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pouch.

Print

  1. Step 1: The pouch

Across the middle draw a wide pouch like a fat pillow lying down, wider than your hand, with round corners.

  2. Step 2: The zip

Start on the left of the pouch, below the top. Curve across to the right edge. Add a zip tab.

  3. Step 3: Two big eyes

Under the zip draw 2 big egg eyes a little apart. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.

  4. Step 4: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, and a small flat oval cheek out beside each end.

  5. Step 5: The belt

From each side of the pouch draw a strap curving down level with its bottom, 2 lines a finger apart.

  6. Step 6: The buckle

At the end of the left strap draw a tall box for the buckle. Add a line down its middle.

  7. Step 7: The ground

Draw a ground line under the pouch from well left to well right.

  8. Step 8: Sparkles

Draw 3 sparkle stars above the pouch, one each side and one on top.

  9. Step 9: Yellow bits, pink cheeks

Colour the buckle, zip pull and sparkles yellow, and the cheeks pink. Leave the eyes white.

  10. Step 10: Purple pouch, black belt

Go over your lines. Colour the pouch purple around the eyes, cheeks and pull, and the belt black.
