How to Draw a Coffee Pot
Draw a coffee pot in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bottom pot.
Step 1: The bottom pot
Below the middle draw the bottom pot like an upside-down flowerpot: a flat top and sides slanting out going down.
Step 2: The top pot
On top draw a flat waist band, then the top pot with sides slanting out as they go up.
Tip Two flowerpots joined at the waist: one upside down, one right way up.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Near the top of the top pot, draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye, with a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The lid
On top draw a short flat band for the lid, and a small round knob on top in the middle.
Step 6: The spout
Start on the top pot's left side. Draw a pointy spout out and up, stopping lower down on the pot.
Tip Rub out the bit of pot line inside the spout, so the spout grows out of the pot.
Step 7: The handle
On the right of the top pot draw a fat C handle, with a smaller C inside it.
Step 8: Facets
Down the bottom pot draw 2 long lines, one each side, slanting out going down, for the flat sides.
Step 9: The table
Start a little in from the left edge. Draw the table line under the pot, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Silver pot
Colour the pots, the waist, the lid and the spout grey, around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Black handle and knob
Colour the handle and the knob black, and your coffee pot is done!
