How to Draw a Colorado Flag
Draw a colorado flag in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the flag pole.
Step 1: The flag pole
On the left draw a tall thin pole from near the bottom to near the top. Add a ball.
Tip Leave lots of room on the right for the flag.
Step 2: The waving flag
Start on the pole below the ball. Wave the top edge out to the right, come down, and wave back.
Step 3: The middle circle
A little left of the middle of the flag draw a circle, a third as tall as the flag.
Tip Leave room all around it for a thick letter.
Step 4: The big C
Wrap a thick letter C around the circle. Leave its opening on the right, with 2 short end lines.
Tip Make the C as thick as half the circle, all the way round.
Step 5: Two stripe lines
Start at the pole. Draw 2 wavy lines across. Stop at the C, then carry on to the edge.
Tip The lines are level with the top and bottom of the circle, and make 3 even stripes.
Step 6: Wind lines
Off the right edge of the flag draw 3 short wind lines.
Step 7: Ground line
Draw a long flat ground line under the pole, from the left side to the right side.
Step 8: Yellow circle
Colour the circle inside the C yellow. Colour the ball on top of the pole yellow too.
Tip Yellow is the lightest colour, so it goes first.
Step 9: Grey pole
Colour the tall pole grey.
Step 10: Red C
Colour the big letter C red, all the way round the yellow circle.
Step 11: Blue stripes
Colour the top and bottom stripes blue, around the C. Leave the middle stripe white. Your Colorado flag is waving!
