How to Draw an Eyeshadow Palette
Draw an eyeshadow palette in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the open lid.
Step 1: The open lid
Near the top of your paper draw a wide rounded box, twice as wide as it is tall.
Tip The lid stands up; the tray will sit under it.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
In the lid draw 2 big egg eyes, a small gap apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The mirror
Inside the lid draw a second rounded box, a finger in from the edge, all round the face.
Step 5: Tray and hinges
From the lid's bottom corners draw a flat tray, slanting out a little. Add 2 little hinges where they meet.
Step 6: Top row of colours
In the tray draw a row of 4 circles across, evenly spaced.
Step 7: Bottom row
Under them draw a second row of 4 circles to match.
Step 8: Shine and sparkles
Draw a thin tilted oval shine in the mirror's top left corner. Add 4 little sparkles around the palette.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line under the tray from left to right.
Step 10: Pink and yellow pans
Colour the first 2 pans in each row pink and yellow. Colour the cheeks pink too.
Step 11: Sky blue mirror
Colour the mirror sky blue, around the face and the shine. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Orange and blue pans
Colour the last 2 pans in each row orange and blue.
Step 13: Purple case
Go over your lines, then colour the lid rim, hinges and tray purple, around the mirror and pans.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: an eyeshadow palette, drawn by you.
