How to Draw an Eyeball
Draw an eyeball in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the eyeball.
Step 1: The eyeball
In the middle of your paper draw one big round ball, about as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The iris
In the middle of the ball, a little high, draw a circle half as wide as the ball: the iris.
Step 3: Pupil and shine
Draw a black pupil inside the iris. Leave 2 white shines: a big one top-left, a tiny one bottom-right.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the iris draw a small U smile, and a flat oval cheek out on each side below the iris.
Step 5: Eyelashes
On top of the ball draw 4 little eyelashes curving up and out: 2 leaning left and 2 leaning right.
Step 6: Two legs
Draw 2 plump legs under the ball. Each starts on the ball, goes down, and comes back up to it.
Tip Plump at the top, thinner at the ankle.
Step 7: Shoes on the ground
Under each leg draw a round shoe with the toe pointing out. Then draw a ground line under both.
Step 8: Two veins
From each side of the ball draw a wiggly vein, stopping before the iris. Add one little branch to each.
Step 9: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars round the eyeball.
Step 10: Yellow and pink
Go over your lines, then colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 11: Blue iris
Colour the iris blue. Leave the pupil black and the ball and shines white.
Step 12: Red shoes
Colour the two shoes red, leave the legs white, and your friendly eyeball is looking at you!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: an eyeball, drawn by you.
