How to Draw a Bubble Letter Q
Draw a bubble letter Q in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big ring.
Step 1: The big ring
In the middle of your paper draw a big fat oval ring, like a doughnut standing up.
Tip Bubble letters are fat and rounded, like balloons, with no sharp corners.
Step 2: The hole
Inside it draw a smaller ring for the hole. Keep a fat even band all round.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
On top of the ring draw 2 big round eyes. Add a black dot and a shine to each.
Step 4: A smile
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Start under the left eye and stop under the right eye.
Step 5: The little tail
At the bottom right draw a short fat tail poking out, as low as the bottom of the ring.
Step 6: Sparkles on the left
On the left of the Q draw 2 sparkle stars, one higher and one lower.
Step 7: Sparkles on the right
Draw 2 more sparkle stars on the right to match.
Step 8: Floor and shadow
Draw a flat oval shadow under the Q, then a long floor line out from each side of it.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles, grey shadow
Colour the 4 sparkles yellow and the shadow grey.
Step 10: Blue letter Q
Go over your lines. Colour the Q blue, leaving the hole and eyes white. Your bubble letter Q is done!
