How to Draw an Elf House
Draw an elf house in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the house.
Step 1: The house
Start on the left of your paper. Draw a big egg with a flat bottom and stop on the right.
Tip Leave the top open for the roof.
Step 2: Round-top door
Start on the bottom line. Draw a little rainbow door and stop on the bottom line. Add a tiny knob.
Step 3: Round window
Above the door, draw a round window with a plus sign inside it.
Step 4: The roof
Start just outside the house on the left. Draw a tall floppy pointy roof and stop on the right.
Tip The roof is taller than the house, like a long elf hat.
Step 5: Bumpy roof edge
Start at the left end of the roof. Draw 5 shallow bumps across and stop at the right end.
Step 6: Bell and sparkles
On the tip of the roof, draw a tiny round bell. Add a sparkle in the air on each side.
Step 7: Roof tiles
Across the roof, draw a row of 6 little U tiles. Add 5 above them and 3 higher up.
Step 8: Ground and grass
Start near the left edge, draw the ground and stop near the right. Add a grass tuft on each side.
Step 9: Yellow bell, sky window
Colour the bell and the sparkles yellow, and the window sky blue.
Step 10: Cream house
Colour the house cream, going around the door and the window.
Step 11: Green roof, brown door
Colour the roof and the grass green, and the door wood brown. Your elf house is done!
