How to Draw an Atlantis

Draw an atlantis in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: two steps.

Step 1: Two steps
Low down, draw a long flat box. Draw a slightly shorter box on top of it.
Tip Keep both boxes in the middle of the page.
Step 2: Four columns
On the top step draw 4 tall columns, evenly spaced, a little wider at the bottom.
Tip Make all 4 columns the same height.
Step 3: The beam
Across the tops of the columns draw a long flat beam, a little wider than the steps below.
Step 4: The big dome
Start at the left of the beam. Draw a big round dome up and over. Stop at the right.
Tip The dome is half a circle, as tall as the columns are.
Step 5: Dome top
From the top of the dome draw a short line up to a small ball.
Step 6: Two towers
On each side of the temple draw a tall thin tower box, standing on the same floor.
Tip The towers are shorter than the temple.
Step 7: Tower domes
On top of each tower draw a round dome, a little wider than the tower.
Step 8: Tower windows
In each tower draw a tall window with a round top.
Step 9: Sea floor, seaweed
Draw the sea floor line from edge to edge. Draw a wiggly seaweed blade at each end.
Tip Atlantis is a lost city at the bottom of the sea.
Step 10: Fish and bubbles
Up left draw a little fish with a triangle tail and a dot eye. Up right draw 3 bubbles.
Tip The bubbles get bigger as they float up.
Step 11: Cream stone
Colour the steps, the columns, the beam and the 2 towers cream, around the windows.
Step 12: Golden domes
Colour the 3 domes, the ball and the fish yellow.
Step 13: Seaweed and windows
Colour the seaweed green and the 2 tower windows dark grey.
Step 14: Sand and sea
Colour the floor sandy and the sea blue around everything, leaving the bubbles white. Atlantis is found!
