How to Draw an Elf Hat
Draw an elf hat in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cone.
Step 1: The cone
Start low on the left. Draw a tall hill that curls down at the tip. Stop low on the right.
Step 2: The zigzag brim
Under the cone draw a band with round corners, poking out both sides. Draw a zigzag from side to side.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the wide part of the cone draw 2 big egg eyes. Add a big black dot and a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: The bell
Under the curled tip draw a round bell hanging from it, with a tiny dot in the middle.
Step 6: Holly on the brim
On the brim draw 2 spiky holly leaves in a wide V. Add 3 round berries where they meet.
Step 7: Sparkles and table
Draw a sparkle star on each side of the hat. Draw a table line under the brim.
Step 8: Yellow bell, pink cheeks
Go over your lines. Colour the bell and sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink.
Step 9: Green hat and holly
Colour the holly leaves light green. Colour the cone green, around the eyes and cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 10: Red brim and berries
Colour the brim and the 3 berries red, around the holly. Your elf hat is done!
