How to Draw the Eiffel Tower
Draw the Eiffel Tower in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the two legs.
Step 1: The two legs
Start near the top, a finger apart. Curve 2 lines down and out to the bottom corners, like an A.
Tip The legs bow inward like a bell: steep on top, flat at the bottom.
Step 2: Top and antenna
Join the leg tops with a small box. Draw an antenna up from its top middle, ending in a ball.
Step 3: Two platforms
Draw 2 platform bars across from leg to leg: a short one near the top, a long one two-thirds down.
Tip Each platform pokes out a little past the legs.
Step 4: The ground
Draw a ground line under the feet from edge to edge, with a tuft of grass at each end.
Step 5: Inner legs
Inside each leg, curve a second line from under the low platform down to the ground, for a thick leg.
Step 6: The big arch
Start on the left inner leg, draw a rainbow arch under the low platform, and stop on the right one.
Step 7: Top lattice
Between the top and the high platform draw three big X's stacked, corner to corner from leg to leg.
Step 8: Middle lattice
Between the two platforms, draw 2 lines across from leg to leg, then one big X from corner to corner.
Step 9: Clouds
Draw a small puffy cloud on each side of the tower: 4 bumps over the top and 2 bumps underneath.
Step 10: White clouds, brown iron
Colour the clouds white, then the top box, antenna ball and both platforms brown, like old iron.
Step 11: Brown legs
Colour the leg bands brown too, between the lines. Go over your lines and you're done!
