How to Draw a Tiny House

Draw a tiny house in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the trailer bed.

Step 1: The trailer bed
Below the middle draw a long thin box from left to right, for the trailer the house rides on.
Step 2: Two wheels
Under the trailer draw 2 round wheels hanging down, one near each end, each with a small hub circle.
Step 3: The hitch
From the trailer's left end draw a short bar slanting down and out, ending in a ball: the hitch.
Tip The hitch hooks the house to a truck.
Step 4: The little walls
On the trailer draw a wall box from the left end, stopping short of the right for a porch.
Step 5: The pointed roof
Over the walls draw a thick pointed roof band, peak a little left of middle, poking past the walls.
Tip The roof pokes out past the walls like a hat brim.
Step 6: The porch
From the right wall draw a thin porch roof and a post down to the trailer. Add a railing between.
Step 7: Door and window
Draw an arched door right, a square window left, and a round loft window under the peak.
Tip Give the door a round knob and the window a cross of panes.
Step 8: Chimney and smoke
On the roof's right slope draw a small box chimney sticking up, with 2 little smoke puffs above.
Step 9: Ground and flower pot
Draw a ground line under the wheels, edge to edge. Put a flower in a pot on the porch.
Step 10: Sky windows, pink flower
Colour both windows sky blue and the flower pink.
Step 11: Grey trailer, brown walls
Colour the trailer, hitch, chimney and hubs grey. Colour the walls and triangle under the roof brown, around the windows.
Step 12: Red roof, black wheels
Colour the roofs and the pot red, and the wheels black around the hubs.
Tip Go over all your lines and your tiny house is done!
