How to Draw an Egyptian
Draw an Egyptian in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: egg head.
Step 1: Egg head
Near the top of your paper, draw a big soft egg head, a little narrower at the chin.
Tip Make it about half the page tall.
Step 2: Big eyes
Below the middle of the head, draw 2 big tall oval eyes one eye apart. Add black dots and shines.
Step 3: Nose and smile
Draw a tiny U nose between the eyes. Under it, draw a wide smile from eye to eye.
Step 4: Eyebrows
Above each eye, draw a short curved line for the eyebrow, like a little rainbow.
Step 5: The headdress
Draw a tall arch outside the head, with 2 long flaps hanging down well below the chin.
Step 6: Gold band
Start on the head's left above the eyebrows. Draw 2 curves close together across the forehead, stopping on the right.
Step 7: Stripes
On each side flap of the headdress, draw 3 short straight lines across, one under the other.
Step 8: Neck and shirt
Draw 2 neck lines under the chin, then shoulders sloping out behind the flaps. Add a U collar.
Step 9: Gold collar
Start at one flap and draw a big U necklace, stopping at the other flap. Add a smaller U inside.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, peach skin
Colour 2 pink cheeks. Colour the face under the band and the neck peach around them. Leave the eyes white.
Step 11: Gold band and collar
Colour the band, the collar and every other flap stripe yellow like gold, starting with the second one.
Step 12: Blue headdress
Colour the headdress blue around the gold, above the band and between the flaps and neck. Leave the shirt white.
