How to Draw an Egg Roll
Draw an egg roll in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
In the middle of your paper draw a big flat oval plate, as wide as your hand.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a second oval a finger inside the plate, all the way round, for the rim.
Step 3: The first egg roll
Across the back of the plate draw a long fat tube tilting up to the right, round at both ends.
Tip An egg roll is a crispy golden tube.
Step 4: A second one
In front of it draw a second tube lying nearly flat, crossing over the first one's right half.
Step 5: The cut end
On the right end of the front roll draw a tall oval cut face, so you can see inside.
Step 6: The filling
Inside the cut end draw a smaller oval for the filling, leaving a thin ring all the way round.
Step 7: Carrot sticks
In the filling draw 2 little slanted carrot sticks, one above the other.
Step 8: Wrapper flaps
On each roll draw a slanted curve from the top edge down to the bottom edge, for the wrapper's edge.
Step 9: A dipping bowl
On the right draw a small flat oval, then draw a U bowl from one end down to the other.
Step 10: Sky plate, white bowl
Go over your lines, then colour the plate sky blue around the rolls. Leave the bowl white.
Step 11: Cream ring
Colour the thin ring of the cut end cream, around the filling.
Step 12: Golden rolls
Colour both rolls ginger, around the cut end, and the carrot sticks orange.
Step 13: Filling and sauce
Colour the filling green around the carrot sticks, and the sauce red. Your egg rolls are done!

Your finished drawing
