How to Draw Horchata
Draw horchata in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the glass.
Step 1: The glass
Start at the top left, in the middle of your paper. Draw a tall glass, stop top right.
Tip Horchata is a sweet milky rice drink, served cold with cinnamon.
Step 2: Rim and base
Across the top draw a flat oval rim. Near the bottom draw a short line across for the thick base.
Step 3: The drink
A thumb below the rim draw a smaller flat oval touching both sides, for the top of the drink.
Step 4: Ice cubes
Inside the glass draw 2 little tilted squares with round corners for ice cubes, one upper left, one lower right.
Step 5: Cinnamon stick
From the drink draw a long stick leaning up out of the glass. Add a tiny curl on top.
Step 6: Stick line
Draw one thin line along the middle of the stick, from near the drink up to near the top end.
Step 7: The saucer
Under the glass draw a wide flat oval saucer, going behind the glass. Draw a smaller flat oval inside it.
Step 8: The table
Draw a long table line under the saucer, from the far left to the far right, touching its bottom.
Step 9: Drink and ice
Go over your lines. Colour the drink cream and the ice cubes sky blue.
Step 10: Blue saucer
Colour the saucer sky blue around the glass.
Step 11: Brown cinnamon
Colour the cinnamon stick brown. Your horchata is done!
