14 steps · Medium · about 11 min

Draw an egg hunting in 14 easy steps, about 11 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Print

  1. Step 1: The head

Left of the middle, near the top, draw a big round head, a little wider at the cheeks.

Tip Leave room on the right for a bush.

  2. Step 2: Happy face

Draw 2 oval eyes with black dots looking to the right. Add a wide smile under them.

  3. Step 3: Hair and bunches

Draw hair over the top of the head with a fringe. Add a round bunch on each side.

Tip Rub out the top of the head inside the hair.

  4. Step 4: Neck and dress

Draw a short neck. Under it draw a dress that gets wider down to a curved hem.

  5. Step 5: Reaching arm

Start on the right shoulder. Draw an arm reaching out to a mitten hand, then back, stop on the dress.

Tip Bend the arm a little at the elbow and give the mitten a thumb on top.

  6. Step 6: Basket arm

Start on the left shoulder. Draw an arm hanging down to a closed fist, then up, stop on the dress.

  7. Step 7: The basket

Start left of the fist, draw a rainbow handle through it, stop on the right. Hang a basket below.

  8. Step 8: Legs and shoes

Under the hem draw 2 legs, thinner at the ankle. Put a round shoe on each foot.

  9. Step 9: Ground and bush

Draw a long ground line under the shoes. On the right, draw a big bumpy bush standing on it.

  10. Step 10: Three painted eggs

Draw 3 eggs: 1 peeking from the top of the bush, 1 from its foot, 1 in front. Add stripes.

Tip Count them: 3 eggs to find.

  11. Step 11: Peach skin, pink cheeks

Colour 2 pink cheeks. Colour the face, neck, arms and legs peach. Leave the eyes white.

  12. Step 12: Yellow and pink

Colour the dress and the egg at the foot of the bush yellow. Colour the shoes and top egg pink.

  13. Step 13: Brown and blue

Colour the hair and the basket brown. Colour the egg in front light blue.

  14. Step 14: Green bush

Go over your lines. Colour the big bush green. Your egg hunt is done!
