How to Draw an Egg Cup
Draw an egg cup in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the egg.
Step 1: The egg
Above the middle, start at the top and draw a big egg, fat end down, back to the top.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Above the middle of the egg draw 2 big egg eyes close together. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile, eye to eye, and a small flat cheek out beside each eye.
Step 4: The cup
Below the face draw the cup: a flat line across the egg, with a bowl curve hanging under it.
Step 5: Stem and foot
Under the cup draw a short stem down to a wide flat foot, like a little goblet.
Step 6: The cracked top
Near the top, start on the left and zigzag across, stopping on the right. Rub out the tip above.
Step 7: The egg cap
To the right draw the cracked-off top lying upside down: a zigzag on top and a round curve under it.
Step 8: The spoon
To the left draw a small spoon lying flat: a little oval bowl and a thin handle towards the cup.
Step 9: Table line
Start near the left edge. Draw a straight table line under the foot, stopping near the right edge.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw a few little 4-point sparkles around it to make it shine.
Step 11: Cream egg
Go over your lines, then colour the egg and the cap cream, going around the cheeks. Leave the eyes white.
Step 12: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 13: Red cup, grey spoon
Colour the cup, stem and foot red and the spoon grey.
