How to Draw Earmuffs

10 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw earmuffs in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the headband.

Print

  1. Step 1: The headband

Start on the left, above the middle. Draw a big rainbow over, stopping on the right. Add one just inside.

Tip Earmuff bands are skinny: keep the 2 rainbows close together.

  2. Step 2: 2 fluffy muffs

Under each end of the band, leaving a gap, draw a big fluffy circle of little bumps, like a cloud.

Tip Make both muffs the same size.

  3. Step 3: 2 big eyes

On the left muff draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a big black dot in each.

  4. Step 4: 2 little clips

Start at each end of the band. Draw a tiny clip down to the muff and back. Add a dot.

  5. Step 5: Smile and cheeks

Under the eyes draw a small U smile from eye to eye. Add a tiny cheek beside each end.

  6. Step 6: A shine

On the right muff, near its top left, draw a thin tilted oval for a shine.

  7. Step 7: Snowflakes

Draw 4 little snowflakes, each a star with 6 pointy arms, floating clear of the earmuffs.

  8. Step 8: Blue flakes, rosy cheeks

Go over your lines, then colour the snowflakes sky blue and the 2 cheeks rosy red.

  9. Step 9: Pink muffs

Colour the muffs pink, around the cheeks, leaving the eyes and the shine white.

  10. Step 10: Purple band

Colour the band and the clips purple. Your earmuffs are ready for the snow!
