How to Draw a Dwarf House
Draw a dwarf house in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the pointy roof.
Step 1: The pointy roof
Near the top draw a tall pointy roof like a wizard's hat, with bumps hanging down along the bottom edge.
Tip The bumpy fringe is the edge of the wooden shingles.
Step 2: The round walls
Start under the left end of the fringe. Draw a fat drum wall down, across, and up to the fringe.
Step 3: The round door
In the middle draw a tall door with a rainbow top. Add a band across and a ring handle.
Step 4: The ground
Draw the ground line from each bottom corner out to the paper's edge, with 3 grass blades at each end.
Step 5: Round windows
On each side of the door draw a round window with a plus sign inside, edge to edge.
Step 6: Shingle rows
Across the roof draw 3 rows of little U bumps from edge to edge, getting shorter toward the top.
Step 7: A chimney
On the right slope draw a chimney with a wide top, from the roof up and down to the roof.
Step 8: Stones in the walls
On the walls draw little sideways ovals for stones: 2 above and 2 below each window, away from the door.
Step 9: Pot and bush
On the left, a fat pot from its oval rim down to the ground. On the right, a bumpy bush.
Step 10: Sky windows, stone walls
Colour the windows sky blue, then the walls and chimney stone grey around the windows and door.
Step 11: Wooden door, green bush
Colour the door wood brown and the bush leaf green.
Step 12: Brown pot and roof
Colour the pot and the roof brown. Go over all your lines and your dwarf house is done!
