How to Draw a Beach House
Draw a beach house in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the roof.
Step 1: The roof
Above the middle of your paper draw a pointy roof like a witch's hat, with a thick brim sticking out.
Step 2: The walls
Start on the brim, in from the left. Draw a straight wall down, across the bottom, and up to the brim.
Step 3: The deck
Under the walls draw a long flat deck that sticks out past both sides, wider than the house.
Step 4: Door and windows
In the middle, start on the deck, draw an arched door up and back to the deck. Add 2 windows.
Step 5: The railing
At each end of the deck draw 2 posts up from the deck, and a rail across to the wall.
Step 6: Tall stilts
Under the deck draw 4 tall thin posts, 2 under each side, from the deck straight down to the ground.
Step 7: The steps
On the right draw steps from the deck's bottom corner down to the ground, like a staircase.
Step 8: Sand and sea
Draw the ground line across the paper under the stilts. Below it draw 2 long wavy sea lines.
Step 9: The sun
Draw a round sun with 8 short rays in the top left.
Step 10: Yellow sun, cream walls
Colour the sun yellow and the walls cream, going around the door and windows.
Step 11: Sky windows, red door
Colour the windows sky blue and the door red.
Step 12: Teal roof, wooden deck
Colour the roof teal, and the deck, stilts and steps wood brown. Your beach house is done!
