How to Draw a Dragon Face
Draw a dragon face in 8 easy steps, about 6 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: big egg head.
Step 1: Big egg head
Draw a huge egg on its side for the head, with a round snout bulging out at the bottom left.
Tip Make it fill most of the page.
Step 2: Horns and spikes
On top of the head, draw 2 fat horns curving back like bananas. Add 3 little spikes down the back.
Step 3: Two huge eyes
Across the middle of the head, draw 2 big tall oval eyes close together. Add a black dot and shine.
Step 4: Smile, fang, nostril
Start on the snout. Draw one long smile ending under the back eye. Add a tiny fang and nostril.
Tip Hang the fang from the end of the smile.
Step 5: Brows and rosy cheek
Draw a short curved eyebrow above each eye. Colour a small pink dot on the cheek behind the smile.
Step 6: Puffs of smoke
Above the snout, draw 3 little cloud puffs of smoke floating up. The biggest is nearest the nose.
Step 7: Yellow horns, purple spikes
Colour the 2 horns yellow and the 3 little spikes purple.
Step 8: Green head
Colour the head green around the pink cheek. Leave the eyes and the fang white.
