How to Draw Dracula

13 steps · Medium · about 10 min

Draw Dracula in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.

Print

  1. Step 1: The head

Near the top draw a big soft egg head, full at the cheeks and narrower at the chin.

Tip Make the head big: nearly two thirds of the page tall.

  2. Step 2: Two ears

On each side of the head draw a C ear, starting and stopping on the head line.

  3. Step 3: Big eyes

Below the middle of the head draw 2 big tall eyes, one eye apart. Add black dots with tiny shines.

  4. Step 4: Nose and smile

Below the eyes draw a small oval nose. Under it draw a wide smile from eye to eye.

  5. Step 5: Arched eyebrows

Above each eye draw a short rainbow eyebrow, from the eye's outer side to its inner side.

  6. Step 6: Two fangs

On the smile, a little in from each end, hang a tiny triangle fang, point down.

  7. Step 7: Pointy hairline

From the left of the head draw a hairline dipping to a sharp point above the nose, ending right.

Tip Everything above the line is slick black hair.

  8. Step 8: Inside the ears

Inside each ear draw a smaller C that follows the outside curve.

  9. Step 9: Neck, shirt, bow tie

Draw 2 neck lines under the chin. Slope shoulders to the page edge. Add a bow tie at the neck.

  10. Step 10: Cape and collar

From each shoulder draw a tall collar up to a point. Add cape edges from the neck to the bottom.

Tip Only draw the parts you can see.

  11. Step 11: Pale skin, pink cheeks

Colour the face, ears and neck pale blue, with pink cheeks. Leave the eyes and fangs white.

  12. Step 12: Red collar, bow tie

Colour the tall collar red around the ears, and colour the bow tie red too.

  13. Step 13: Black hair and cape

Colour the hair and the cape on the shoulders black, leaving the shirt white. Your Dracula is ready!
