How to Draw a Donkey Face
Draw a donkey face in 8 easy steps, about 6 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the head.
Step 1: The head
Draw a big egg head, wide end up, a little taller than wide. Leave room for the ears.
Step 2: Two big eyes
Across the middle of the head draw 2 big eyes with a small gap. Black dot and shine in each.
Tip Nothing should touch the eyes.
Step 3: Muzzle and smile
Under the eyes draw a big egg muzzle hanging a little below the chin. Add 2 nostrils and a smile.
Step 4: The ears
On each top corner of the head draw a tall leaf-shaped ear, leaning out.
Tip Ears lean out a little, on the top corners, never on the sides.
Step 5: Inside the ears
Inside each ear draw a thinner leaf, with a small gap all around it.
Step 6: Tuft of hair
Between the ears draw a tuft of hair: 4 soft round bumps, starting and stopping on the head line.
Step 7: Cream muzzle, peach ears
Colour the muzzle cream and the inside of each ear peach.
Step 8: Grey head, slate tuft
Colour the head and ears grey around the cream and peach, leaving the eyes white, and the tuft slate grey.
