How to Draw a Dollhouse
Draw a dollhouse in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big box.
Step 1: The big box
In the middle of your paper, draw a big square box for the dollhouse.
Step 2: The roof
On top of the box, draw a pointed roof like a big triangle that sticks out past both sides.
Step 3: Attic window and chimney
In the roof, draw a round window with a plus sign inside. On the right slope, draw a box chimney.
Step 4: Four rooms
Draw a floor from wall to wall below the middle, and a wall from the roof down to the bottom.
Tip The front is open so you can see into 4 rooms.
Step 5: Bed and bath
Top-left room: a bed with a headboard, a pillow and a blanket line. Top-right room: a bathtub with a tap.
Step 6: A sofa
Bottom-left room: draw a sofa with an arm at each end and a tall back from arm to arm.
Step 7: Table and lamp
Bottom-right room: a table with 2 legs, and a lamp post from the floor up to an upside-down cup shade.
Step 8: Heart and base
Add a heart above the bed. Under the house, draw a base from the bottom down to a ground line.
Step 9: Pink roof, cream walls
Colour the roof pink, going around the window. Colour the walls and base cream, going around the furniture.
Step 10: Blue bath, pink blanket
Colour the bathtub and attic window sky blue, and the blanket pink. Leave the pillow and sheet white.
Step 11: Red sofa, yellow lamp
Colour the lamp, table and headboard yellow, and the sofa, heart and chimney red. You're done!
