How to Draw a Dollar Bill
Draw a dollar bill in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bill.
Step 1: The bill
In the middle draw one long flat box with soft corners, twice as wide as it is tall.
Step 2: The portrait
In the very middle of the bill draw a tall oval portrait, about two thirds as tall as the bill.
Step 3: Two big eyes
Above the middle of the oval draw 2 egg eyes, half an eye apart, with a black dot and shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a little U smile from eye to eye, and a tiny oval cheek at each end.
Step 5: Inner border
Inside the bill draw a second box, a finger in from the edge all the way round.
Step 6: Four seals
In each corner of the inner box draw a round seal, like a coin, with a big 1 inside.
Step 7: Little writing
On each side of the portrait draw three short straight lines one under the other, like tiny writing.
Step 8: Wavy bands and sparkles
Draw short wavy lines along the top and bottom of the inner box, beside the portrait. Add 4 sparkles outside.
Step 9: Cream middle
Go over your lines. Colour the inner box cream, around the portrait and seals. Leave the portrait and eyes white.
Step 10: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Colour the 2 cheeks pink and the 4 sparkles yellow.
Step 11: Green border and seals
Colour the border between the 2 boxes light green and the 4 seals dark green. Your dollar bill is done!
