How to Draw a Dog Bone
Draw a dog bone in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bone.
Step 1: The bone
In the middle draw a big bone lying flat: a long thick bar with 2 round knobs at each end.
Tip Like 2 snowmen lying down; the bar is longer than the knobs are tall.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the bar draw 2 big egg eyes side by side, with a small gap.
Step 3: Shiny pupils
In each eye draw a big black dot. Leave 2 little white shines in it.
Step 4: A happy smile
Under the eyes draw a little U smile, from under one eye to under the other.
Step 5: Two cheeks
Add a small oval cheek just below and outside each eye.
Step 6: The ground
Draw a ground line under the bone from well left to well right, touching the bottom of the end knobs.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars in the air above the bone: left, right and middle.
Step 8: Cream bone
Go over your lines. Colour the bone cream around the eyes and cheeks, and leave the eyes white.
Step 9: Pink cheeks
Colour the two cheeks pink.
Step 10: Yellow sparkles
Colour the sparkles yellow, and your bone is ready for a good dog!
