How to Draw a Color Wheel
Draw a color wheel in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the big circle.
Step 1: The big circle
In the middle of your paper draw a big round circle, as big as your fist.
Step 2: The middle circle
Inside it draw a smaller circle right in the middle, about a third as wide, for the face.
Step 3: Two big eyes
In the middle circle draw 2 big egg eyes. Colour a big black dot in each and leave a shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Add a tiny oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Six spokes
Start on the middle circle. Draw 6 straight lines out to the big circle, like pizza slices.
Tip Up and down first, then the side ones.
Step 6: Stand and table
Under the circle draw a short foot, wider at the bottom, then a long table line across the page.
Step 7: A paintbrush
Right of the stand, draw a paintbrush lying on the table, with a long handle, a band and fat bristles.
Step 8: Sparkles
Add 3 little sparkles in the air around the wheel.
Step 9: Pink and grey
Go over your lines. Colour the cheeks pink, and the stand and the brush band grey.
Step 10: Yellow and orange
Colour the bottom right slice yellow and the right slice orange. Leave the middle circle and eyes white.
Step 11: Red and green
Colour the top right slice and the brush handle red, and the bottom left slice green.
Step 12: Blue and purple
Colour the left slice and the brush bristles blue, and the top left slice purple.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a color wheel, drawn by you.
