How to Draw a Disco Ball
Draw a disco ball in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ball.
Step 1: The ball
In the middle of your paper, a little low, draw one big round circle, about as wide as your hand.
Step 2: Cap and string
On the ball's top, draw a small cap and a tiny ring. Draw a straight string up from the ring.
Step 3: Two big eyes
On the ball, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes one eye apart. Add black dots and round shines.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 5: Rows of tiles
Draw 4 lines across the ball, 2 above the eyes, 2 below the smile. Add 3 short lines each side.
Tip Stop the short lines a finger away from the eyes, so the face stays clear.
Step 6: Columns of tiles
Draw 2 tall ovals, top to bottom. Add a thin oval and a middle line, skipping the face.
Tip The smaller oval touches the ends of the short lines. The wider one crosses them, making little mirror tiles.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 4 sparkle stars round the ball, 2 each side: a tall thin diamond crossed with a wide one.
Step 8: Pink and yellow
Colour the cheeks pink and the 4 sparkles yellow.
Step 9: Sky tiles
Colour 6 tiles sky blue, 2 above the face, 2 below it and 1 on each side.
Step 10: Silver ball
Colour the ball light grey around the blue and pink. Leave the eyes white. Colour the cap and ring slate.
