How to Draw a Spoon
Draw a spoon in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the bowl.
Step 1: The bowl
Start at the bottom middle. Draw a big egg up and round, and stop a finger right of your start.
Tip Let the egg narrow at the bottom and leave a small gap: the handle grows out of it.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the middle of the egg draw 2 big round eyes. Colour a black dot in each, leaving a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile. Add a small oval cheek beside each end.
Step 4: The handle
Start at the neck's left. Draw a long line down, round the wide end, back up to the neck.
Tip A long skinny strip that slowly gets wider to a round end.
Step 5: A bowl shine
Inside the bowl, near its top left edge, draw a short curved line that follows the edge.
Step 6: A handle shine
Down the handle, near its left edge, draw one long light line from near the top to past the middle.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw a big sparkle star up to the right of the bowl and a small one down to its left.
Step 8: The table
Start a little left of the handle's round end. Draw a table line under it. Stop a little right.
Step 9: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Grey spoon
Colour the spoon grey around the pink cheeks, leaving the eyes white. Your spoon is ready for soup!
