11 steps · Medium · about 8 min

Draw a didgeridoo in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.

Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the long tube.

Print

  1. Step 1: The long tube

Start at the top right. Draw a tube left to a narrow end, then back, stopping at the bottom right.

Tip Narrow at the mouth end, wide at the other. Leave the wide end open.

  2. Step 2: The open end

At the wide end, draw a thin oval for the opening. At the narrow end, draw a short line across.

  3. Step 3: Painted bands

Draw 3 lines across the tube, evenly spaced, for painted bands.

  4. Step 4: Wavy dots

With your yellow crayon, dot a wavy line of 6 little dots between the first 2 bands.

  5. Step 5: More wavy dots

Dot another wavy line of 6 little yellow dots between the last 2 bands.

  6. Step 6: Music notes

Draw 2 music notes in the air above the tube.

  7. Step 7: Sparkles

Draw 2 little 4-point stars in the air for sparkles.

  8. Step 8: The floor

Draw a floor line under the tube, from left to right, a little past both ends.

  9. Step 9: Yellow sparkles, orange end

Colour the sparkles yellow and the open end orange.

  10. Step 10: Brown tube

Colour the tube brown around the yellow dots.

  11. Step 11: Black notes

Colour the note heads black. Your didgeridoo is ready to drone!
