How to Draw a Daisy
Draw a daisy in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: round middle.
Step 1: Round middle
Near the top of your paper draw a small round circle, as big as a plum.
Step 2: Eyes and a smile
Draw 2 big egg eyes with black dots. Under them draw a wide U smile from eye to eye.
Step 3: Four petals
Start on the circle near the top. Draw a long petal up and back to the circle. Do 3 more.
Tip Each petal is one and a half times as long as the middle.
Step 4: Fill the gaps
In each gap draw 2 more petals, starting on the circle and coming back to it. 12 in all.
Step 5: Stem
Start at the bottom petal tip. Draw 2 gently bending lines down to near the bottom, a little wider there.
Step 6: Two leaves
A hand below the petals draw a fat leaf on the left of the stem. Draw another on the right.
Step 7: Leaf veins
Start on the stem in the middle of each leaf. Draw one curved vein line out, stopping before the tip.
Step 8: Ground and grass
Start near the left edge. Draw a soft ground line through the stem bottom to the right edge. Add grass.
Step 9: White petals
Colour all 12 petals with a white crayon, so they stand out from the paper.
Step 10: Yellow middle, pink cheeks
Colour the middle yellow around the eyes and cheeks, then colour the cheeks pink. Keep the eyes white.
Step 11: Green stem and leaves
Colour the stem and leaves green. Go over your lines.
