How to Draw a Cuba Flag
Draw a cuba flag in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: pole and ground.
Step 1: Pole and ground
Draw a tall thin pole on the left, a ball on top, and a ground line from edge to edge.
Step 2: The waving flag
Start on the pole below the ball. Draw a long wavy top edge, a straight side, a wavy bottom edge.
Tip This flag is twice as long as it is tall.
Step 3: The triangle
Start at the flag's top corner. Draw straight to a point in the middle, then back to the bottom corner.
Tip The triangle sits against the pole. Its point stops a little before halfway along the flag.
Step 4: Two top lines
Start on the triangle's top edge. Draw 2 wavy lines across to the right side of the flag.
Tip Keep the gaps the same, so every stripe is as tall as the others.
Step 5: Two bottom lines
Start on the triangle's bottom edge. Draw 2 more wavy lines across to the right side, making 5 even stripes.
Step 6: One star
In the middle of the triangle draw 1 star with 5 points. Keep it inside the triangle.
Tip Start with the top point, then make all 5 points the same size.
Step 7: Wind lines
Off the right edge of the flag draw 3 short wind lines.
Step 8: Yellow ball, grey pole
Colour the ball on top of the pole yellow and the pole grey.
Step 9: Red triangle
Colour the triangle red around the star. Leave the star white.
Step 10: Blue stripes
Colour the top, middle and bottom stripes blue. Leave the 2 between them white. Your Cuban flag is waving!
