How to Draw a Crowbar
Draw a crowbar in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the long bar.
Step 1: The long bar
Draw 2 long straight lines side by side, slanting from the bottom left up to the top right.
Tip Keep them close together, so your crowbar is long and slim.
Step 2: The hook
From the top of each line, curve up and over to the right. Stop when the curves point back down.
Step 3: The claw
From the end of each curve, draw a short straight line down beside the bar, stopping side by side.
Step 4: A V notch
Start at the tip of one short line, draw a V up into the claw and down to the other.
Tip The V splits the claw into 2 points that grip a nail.
Step 5: The bend
From the bottom of each long line, draw a short line bending left. Stop the lower one a little sooner.
Step 6: The flat end
Start at the end of one bent line and draw a short straight line across to the other.
Step 7: A shine
Inside the bar near its left edge, draw a thin line along the middle of the bar for a shine.
Step 8: Two sparkles
Draw 2 little 4-pointed sparkles, a bigger one at the top left and a small one at the bottom right.
Step 9: Yellow sparkles
Colour the 2 sparkles yellow.
Step 10: Slate grey crowbar
Go over your lines, then colour the whole crowbar slate grey. Your crowbar is ready!
