How to Draw Crossed Fingers
Draw crossed fingers in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the palm.
Step 1: The palm
In the middle draw a rounded shape for the palm, like a fat egg with a flatter top.
Tip Leave lots of room above for 2 tall fingers.
Step 2: Pointing finger
Start on top of the palm, left of middle. Draw a tall finger leaning right, stopping back on the palm.
Tip It is fatter at the bottom than at the rounded tip.
Step 3: Crossing finger
Start on the palm, right of the first finger. Draw a finger leaning left behind it. Stop at that finger.
Tip Lift your pencil where the first finger is in the way. The tip peeks out on its left.
Step 4: Curled ring finger
Across the palm under the tall fingers, draw a fat sausage finger poking a little past the right edge.
Step 5: Curled little finger
Under it draw a shorter sausage finger, tucked under the first one and poking past the edge.
Tip The 2 curls stack like little sausages.
Step 6: Folded thumb
Start low on the palm's left edge. Draw a fat thumb over the finger ends, back to the edge.
Tip Rub out the finger ends that are under the thumb.
Step 7: Wrist lines
Start on the bottom of the palm. Draw 2 short wrist lines straight down, and stop a finger below it.
Step 8: Soft cuff
Where the wrist lines stop, draw a soft rounded cuff around the wrist. Add a line across near the top.
Step 9: Colour the skin peach
Colour the palm, the crossed fingers, the curled fingers, the thumb and the wrist peach.
Step 10: Blue cuff
Colour the cuff blue. Go over your lines and your crossed fingers are done.
