How to Draw a Croquet Set
Draw a croquet set in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ball.
Step 1: The ball
On the lower left of your paper draw a big round ball.
Step 2: 2 big eyes
On the ball draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart. Colour a big black dot in each.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a wide U smile from eye to eye. Add a small oval cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The stripe
Across the lower part of the ball draw 2 curves from edge to edge for a wide stripe.
Step 5: Ground line
Start near the left edge. Draw a ground line under the ball and stop near the right edge.
Step 6: The hoop
Start on the ground in the middle. Draw an upside-down U up and over, back down to the ground.
Step 7: The mallet head
On the ground at the right draw a long barrel with round ends, and a line near each end.
Step 8: The handle
From the middle of the barrel draw a long thin handle straight up, with a round top.
Step 9: Grass tufts
Draw 3 little grass tufts on the line: left of the ball, and each side of the hoop.
Step 10: Sparkles
Draw 3 little sparkles in the air, away from everything, to make it shine.
Step 11: Pink cheeks, yellow sparkles
Go over your lines, then colour the cheeks pink and the sparkles yellow.
Step 12: Red ball
Colour the ball red around the cheeks, with a blue stripe. Leave the eyes white.
Step 13: Wood mallet
Colour the mallet head and handle wood brown. Your croquet set is done!
