How to Draw a Ring Light
Draw a ring light in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the ring.
Step 1: The ring
Near the top draw a big circle, and a smaller circle inside it, to make a thick ring.
Tip A ring light glows all round your phone so your face is bright.
Step 2: Two big eyes
In the ring draw 2 big round eyes side by side. Colour a black dot in each, with a shine.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes draw a small U smile, and a tiny flat cheek beside each eye.
Step 4: The phone
Round the face draw a rounded box for the screen, then a bigger box round it for the phone.
Step 5: The holder
Under the phone draw a small box joining the phone to the ring.
Step 6: The pole
Under the ring draw a thin pole straight down, tucked behind the ring, with a small clamp box on top.
Step 7: The ground
Below the pole draw a long flat ground line, from near the left edge to near the right edge.
Step 8: Tripod legs
At the pole's bottom draw a small circle, then 3 legs down to the ground with little flat feet.
Step 9: Glow rays
Around the top of the ring draw 5 short straight rays pointing out.
Step 10: Yellow ring, pink cheeks
Go over your lines, then colour the ring yellow and the cheeks pink. Leave the screen and eyes white.
Step 11: Slate stand
Colour the phone's edge around the screen, the holder, pole, clamp, hub and legs slate grey.
Step 12: Black feet
Colour the 3 little feet black. Lights, camera, action!

Your finished drawing
