How to Draw a Cream Horn
Draw a cream horn in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: a plate.
Step 1: A plate
A little below the middle of your paper draw a big flat oval plate, wider than your hand.
Step 2: The horn
Draw a fat cone lying on the plate, point on the left. Make 5 soft bumps along each edge.
Tip Each bump is a little bigger than the one before.
Step 3: Spiral bands
Draw 4 curved lines across the horn. Start each at a dip on top, stop at the dip below.
Step 4: The cream
Start at the top of the wide end. Draw 6 fluffy bumps round to the bottom of the end.
Tip A big round puff, a little wider than the horn.
Step 5: The swirl
Inside the puff, start near its middle. Curl round once and a half, stopping before the edge.
Step 6: A strawberry
On the plate, right of the cream, draw a small strawberry: round on top, a soft point below.
Step 7: Leafy top
Across the top of the strawberry draw a little leafy cap with 3 points hanging down.
Step 8: Seeds
On the strawberry, under the leaves, draw 3 tiny dashes for seeds, zigzag down.
Step 9: The table
Draw a line under the plate from far left to far right, just touching its bottom.
Step 10: Sky plate
Go over your lines. Colour the plate sky blue around the horn, its puffy filling and the strawberry.
Step 11: Tan pastry
Colour the horn tan, stopping at the puffy filling. Leave the filling white.
Step 12: Red strawberry, green leaves
Colour the strawberry red and its leafy top green. Your cream horn is done!
