How to Draw Toffee
Draw toffee in 12 easy steps, about 9 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the toffee.
Step 1: The toffee
Left of the middle, draw a long fat rounded rectangle with a tiny point at each end.
Tip Keep the top and bottom almost flat, with round corners.
Step 2: Left twist
From the left point, fan 2 lines out like a bow tie. Zigzag down between their ends.
Step 3: Right twist
From the right point, fan 2 lines out the same way. Zigzag down between their ends.
Step 4: Fold lines
On each twist, draw 2 fold lines from the edges near the point to the zigzag's inner corners.
Step 5: A toffee square
Beside the right twist, draw a small square for an unwrapped toffee, level with the bottom of the wrapped one.
Step 6: Its top
From the square's top corners, draw 2 short lines slanting up to the right. Join their ends.
Step 7: Its side
From the top's back right corner, draw a short line down. Slant back to the square's bottom right corner.
Step 8: Shines
In the top left corner of the wrapped toffee and of the square, draw a small banana shine.
Step 9: The table
Draw a table line under both toffees, from well left to well right, touching their bottoms.
Step 10: Golden toffee
Go over your lines. Colour the top of the toffee square tan and its front ginger, leaving the shine white.
Step 11: Brown side
Colour the side of the toffee square brown.
Step 12: Red wrapper
Colour the wrapped toffee and both twists red, leaving the shine white, and your toffee is done!
