How to Draw a Crayon Box
Draw a crayon box in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the box.
Step 1: The box
A little below the middle of your paper, draw a wide box with soft corners, almost as tall as wide.
Step 2: Two big eyes
On the front of the box, above the middle, draw 2 big egg eyes an eye apart. Add black dots.
Step 3: Smile and cheeks
Under the eyes, draw a wide U smile from the left eye to the right. Add cheeks at each end.
Step 4: Three crayons
Out of the top-left, draw 3 pointy crayons. Start on the top edge, go up to a point, and back.
Tip Add a short line across each one where the tip starts.
Step 5: Three more crayons
Draw 3 more crayons out of the top-right the same way, starting and stopping on the top edge.
Tip Keep all the crayons the same height.
Step 6: Stripe band
Just under the top edge, above the eyes, draw 2 lines close together across the box from side to side.
Step 7: Ground and sparkles
Draw a ground line under the box from well left to well right, and 3 sparkle stars around it.
Step 8: Yellow and pink
Colour the sparkles, the band and the third crayon yellow. Colour the cheeks and the last crayon pink.
Step 9: Red and orange crayons
Colour the first crayon red and the second one orange.
Step 10: Blue and purple crayons
Colour the fourth crayon blue and the fifth one purple.
Step 11: Green box
Colour the box green around the yellow band and pink cheeks. Leave the eyes white. Your crayon box is done!
