How to Draw a CD
Draw a CD in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the disc.
Step 1: The disc
In the middle of your paper draw one big round circle, nearly as wide as the page.
Step 2: The hole
In the very middle draw a small circle for the hole, and a bigger ring round it.
Step 3: 2 big eyes
Above the hole draw 2 big egg eyes, one eye apart, each with a black dot and a white shine.
Step 4: Smile and cheeks
Below the hole draw a small U smile. Add an oval cheek on each side of it.
Step 5: Shine curves
Draw 2 short curves just inside the edge of the disc: one top left, one bottom right.
Step 6: Rainbow wedges
On each side of the ring draw a fan shape out to the edge, split in 2 by a line.
Step 7: Sparkles
Draw 3 sparkle stars floating round the CD: top left, top right and bottom right.
Step 8: Ground
Draw a ground line under the disc from far left to far right, touching its bottom.
Step 9: Rainbow shine
Go over your lines. Colour one wedge on each side sky blue, and the wedge beside it pink.
Step 10: Silver disc
Colour the disc light grey around the wedges. Leave the eyes, the cheeks and the ring round the hole white.
Step 11: Yellow sparkles, pink cheeks
Colour the sparkles yellow and the cheeks pink, and your CD is shining!

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a CD, drawn by you.
