How to Draw a Cracker
Draw a cracker in 13 easy steps, about 10 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the cracker.
Step 1: The cracker
A little above the middle draw a big square with soft round corners, as big as your hand.
Step 2: Another cracker
Start on the cracker's top edge. Draw a square peeking out above and right, stopping low on the right side.
Tip Give it soft corners, and do not draw across the big cracker.
Step 3: The rim
Inside the big cracker draw a second square with soft corners, a finger in from the edge.
Step 4: Top row of holes
Across the upper part of the cracker, inside the rim, draw 3 tiny circles in a row.
Step 5: More holes
Draw 2 more rows of 3 tiny circles under the first, making a neat square of 9.
Tip Crackers have holes so they bake flat.
Step 6: Back holes
On the cracker behind draw 3 tiny circles where you can see it.
Step 7: Salt
Sprinkle 3 tiny salt ovals among the holes, tilted different ways, away from the rim.
Step 8: A plate
Start low on the cracker's left side. Draw a flat oval plate round the bottom, stopping at the cracker behind.
Tip The back of the plate hides behind the crackers.
Step 9: Crumbs
On the flat of the plate draw 2 tiny crumbs, one on each side of the cracker.
Step 10: Tan cracker
Go over your lines. Colour the big cracker tan, around the holes and the salt.
Step 11: Cracker behind
Colour the cracker behind and the 2 crumbs tan too, around its holes.
Step 12: Sky plate
Colour the plate sky blue, around the crackers and the crumbs.
Step 13: Brown holes
Colour all the holes brown, and your cracker is ready for a snack!
