How to Draw a Muffin Tin
Draw a muffin tin in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the tin.
Step 1: The tin
Above the middle draw a wide flat box with slanted sides, leaning right, for the top of the tin.
Tip It's a rectangle seen from a little above, so the sides slant.
Step 2: The rim
Draw a thin rim under the front edge, from the left corner down, across, and up to the right corner.
Step 3: Back cups
On the tin draw 3 flat ovals in a row near the back for the cups, evenly spaced.
Step 4: Front cups
Draw 3 more flat ovals in a row in front of them, each one between 2 back cups.
Step 5: Back muffins
Start on each back oval's front edge and draw a puffy muffin up, over and back down to it.
Tip The muffin sits IN the cup: rub out the oval behind it.
Step 6: Front muffins
Draw a puffy muffin in each front cup the same way: up from the front edge, over and back down.
Step 7: Paper cup edges
Low across each muffin, draw a gentle smile from side to side for the paper cup's edge.
Step 8: The table
Draw a table line along the bottom of the rim, poking out just past each end.
Step 9: Cream paper cups
Colour the little band under each paper-cup line cream.
Step 10: Tan muffins
Colour all 6 muffin tops tan, down to the paper-cup line.
Step 11: Grey tin
Go over your lines. Colour the tin top grey, going around the muffins, and the rim and holes darker slate.

Your finished drawing
Follow the steps above and this is where you end up: a muffin tin, drawn by you.
