How to Draw a Cow Skull
Draw a cow skull in 11 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: the skull.
Step 1: The skull
In the middle draw a long skull: wide at the top, pinched in below, a narrow round nose.
Tip Make both sides match, like a tall heart with a flat top.
Step 2: Two horns
From each top corner draw a long horn: out to the side, then curling up to a point.
Tip Thick where it leaves the skull, thin at the tip.
Step 3: Eye holes
Near each side of the skull, just below the horns, draw a big egg-shaped eye hole.
Step 4: Nose hole
Low on the nose draw a tall upside-down heart, pointed at the top.
Step 5: Cheek dents
Under each eye hole draw a short curve down the side of the nose, stopping above the nose hole.
Step 6: A crack
From the top of the skull zigzag a crack down the middle, stopping between the eye holes.
Step 7: Horn rings
Across each horn draw 2 short curved lines near the skull, from edge to edge.
Step 8: Ground line
Under the nose draw a straight ground line that sticks out past the skull on both sides.
Step 9: Cream skull
Go over your lines. Colour the skull cream, going around the eye holes and the nose hole.
Step 10: Tan horns
Colour both horns tan.
Step 11: Dark holes
Colour the 2 eye holes and the nose hole dark grey. Your cow skull is done!
