How to Draw Cotton Candy
Draw cotton candy in 10 easy steps, about 8 minutes. Free, with a printable worksheet.
Each picture adds one red line. Draw that line, then scroll to the next picture. Rub out any dashed helper lines at the end. First up: fluffy cloud.
Step 1: Fluffy cloud
Above the middle, draw a big fluffy cloud, a bit taller than wide, with soft even bumps all round.
Tip Keep the bumps all about the same size, like fat fingertips.
Step 2: Paper tube
From the bottom of the cloud, draw 2 lines down, getting closer. Join them with a short flat line.
Step 3: A curly swirl
Start inside the cloud near its top left edge. Draw a swirl up, round and in, stopping in its middle.
Step 4: Two more swirls
Draw 2 more swirls the same way: one on the right side, and a smaller one low on the left.
Step 5: Top stripe
Near the top of the tube, draw 2 slanted lines across it, from side to side, a finger apart.
Step 6: Bottom stripe
Lower down, draw 2 more slanted lines across the tube the same way, for a second stripe.
Step 7: The ground
Draw a short ground line under the tube, from a little left of it to a little right.
Step 8: White tube
Go over your lines. Colour the paper tube white above, between and below the 2 stripes.
Step 9: Pink fluff
Colour the whole fluffy cloud pink, right up to its bumpy edge.
Step 10: Blue stripes
Colour the 2 stripes on the tube blue. Your cotton candy is done!
